All you boys and girls at Mesa, Pinnacle, and TSA better sell yourselves out to get that 1000 turbine PIC so you can move on to the majors and make a lot of money and fly the really big airplanes with a lot of hot flight attendants... NOT, this is what we all might be stuck in for a while. 70+ seat "regional aircraft." It's time that some people on this board begin to realize this fact.
Everybody should be supporting those companies and pilots that are making the industry better rather than those that continue the cutthroat competition and allow the sub par companies to stay in business through this "pilot shortage" as some have referred to it.
The TSA guys and gals tried to improve the industry a few years ago when they voted down the initial gojet proposal...obviously that worked out well. We're trying again in negotiations right now...its already been a long process, and its going to be a lot longer, but I think and hope that the vast majority is ready to do
whatever it takes to get our contract abve par.
