They will have actual numbers on the day of but this is just my guess based on previous classes.

You want the shortest reserve time then the 175 or 145 will get you there. If you are young then you will get the 145. So after you get the 145 lga move up off reserve and hold a line. Then at this point you can stay there indefinitely or move bases. We will have vacancies every 3 months or so(maybe 1-2 if we keep hiring) and at anytime you can put a request to transfer. If you want to avoid reserve in ORD or Dfw then just wait in lga until you see guys junior to you get lines in other bases and then do a base transfer and never go back to reserve.

Guys will delay upgrading so they don't have to sit reserve as a captain. You can do the same with base transfers just delay it so you won't have to sit reserve.
The E75 is not the fastest way to a line. Currently there are nearly 200 first officers whom are on the equipment or in the training pipeline and don't have a next status. Out of those 200, only 10 to 15 percent of those will be able to hold an upgrade between now and mid to late 2018. we have roughly 75% of the aircraft on property with roughly 100 lines. The remainder of the aircraft might carry us to 130 ish lines. Someone getting hired today will not see a line on the E75 until summer 2018 at the earliest. If additional aircraft or bases are added into the mix then things will change, but as long as 40 E75 operate out of DFW the people hired today will not see a line for a while. On the other hand the E45 in NY will see the fastest movement, new hires are being sent there and many will look to bid the E45 elsewhere when able, the top E45 FO can hold upgrade and many bid the FO position to transfer quickly and will likely be awarded an upgrade later today. NY E45 could see 50+ FO transfer or upgrade on paper later today.
