Nobody should "earn an "s" label" for taking a new hire bonus. Everyone throws the scab label around too easily, especially at Qx. In the airline world you are a scab if you fly struck work, i.e. Cross a picket line.
Given the current laws in the Railway Labor Act the likelihood of a pilot group being allowed to put management on notice with a strike is not going to happen. But I would say taking a bonus that is currently being litigated in the courts by the pilot is equivalent to crossing a picket line. That being said WHY any pilot would go to Horizon now with this type of environment doesn’t understand how bad management can make the QOL for pilots.
