If you think EAS is wasteful, look at where it falls on list of wasteful government spending and total dollars spent. Less than $200 million annually for the lower 48, EAS is far down the list and amounts to pennies compared to other wasteful areas. Trump traveling down to Florida every single weekend and his kids traveling all over the world with secret service will cost the tax payers more annually than EAS in the lower 48.
