It's actually very close to that, I'm not sure what the exact number is though. All you have to do, if you work there, is look at the rosters for the past several months. Corporate announced yesterday they are pulling away from the United agreement for 12 additional aircrafts because they are unable to "retain and hire" pilots. When you've lost far more pilots than you've hired, it was only a matter of time. Basically, upgrades will now come to a crawl or maybe a complete stop!
Who did this announcement go out to and where/how did you find out about it? It makes sense that they would do this given the current situation. Since there's been no company-internal notification it would be nice to verify it.
