Previous reference to 1 May had nothing to do with any announcement. It was the fact that Amazon ops out of CVG begins and with ATI/ABX/Atlas/Kalitta all doing some mix of DHL/AMZN flying there was speculation about a conflict with ABX's scope language. If anything, this would give ABX pilots leverage to claim whatever portion of the flying is covered by the scope provisions in their contract.
wjcandee provided some clarification on this, and it may not end up being as big of an issue as previously thought.
Nobody claimed that 1 May had anything to do with an announcement benefiting ATI, but you can believe whatever you want.
