How times change...

Heck, we used to do that in the late 90s/early 2000s. Then again, I grew up in a place where everyone knew everyone and we were taught to safely use guns at a young age...not cower at the thought of a gun. Guy used to leave guns in the gun racks on their trucks. Then one day, someone (non-local) driving by the school saw one and called the Superintendent. This was right after Columbine so people had lost their minds. The Superintendent simply told my buddy to take the gun home and get back to class.

Agreed. However, everyone here is automatically assuming HE put the gun in there. Never underestimate the crazy in a scorned lover. It's happened before... I don't know about you guys, but I don't check EVERY pocket on my bag before I go to work. I also don't use that bag for anything other than work.

I'm guessing it's closer to thousands of guns that are accidentally (or not) carried on every year. In general, it has not been a big deal. I am by no means saying that they shouldn't be working hard to catch all the guns.

I don't think this will cause KCM to go away, but it sure doesn't help.
