I trained at Aeroflight (Private) before going to college to finish the rest. Great school and company but I think I was one of the last few students before they shut down the flight school. They said insurance rates were too high. This was back in 2003.
Too bad to, it was the cheapest (by far) school at KBFI with 152's renting for $59. They also had a huge rental fleet including 2 mooneys, a Cessna 140, several 172s and 152s, a dutchess, 172RG, and a cherokee 140. My instructor was great and I think she went on to fly cargo for them when they closed the flight school.
Anywho, I'd love to know if the flight school has opened up again. I'm sure any job with them would be great though as they are a 1st rate operation. I flew a 172 in there last september and saw many of the same staff that were there in 2003.
