We have PBS. But, none of those 3 schedules are typical. In fact, I'm not sure how any of the three even got awarded.
The first one has 13 days off. We're guaranteed 11. Right now, with the inability to cover all flying, the odds of getting awarded 13 days off are slim to none.
The second one, with the 8 days straight can only happen if you waive the minimum 2 days off in between trips. Some commuters like this though because it reduces the number of times they have to commute and increases the likelihood of having more days off in a row.
The third one only has 10 days off. That bidder must have waived the min 11 days off.
So no, these are not quite typical of what are awarded schedules.
Understanding that the posted schedules may not be "typical," can anyone give a sense of a more "typical" schedule? Or, can anyone explain whether there are any bidding strategies someone could use to get fewer (longer) trips, or try to minimize nights away, etc? Thanks guys.
