This is why ALPA pilots leave places like Mesa, Trans-states, etc, for Skywest, and then repeatedly vote down an ALPA drive.
This is partly why it took forever for B6 to vote in ALPA.
This is why pilots support non union startups like Virgin America, and worse yet, attempted union busting startups like Compass and Freedom Air.
Teamsters 1224 enforces unity between pilot groups. ALPA is everyone for themselves. I have a very low opinion of ALPA from my time at Mesa, and ALPA's disgusting behavior and attitude from ABX's strike in CVG.
