If Joe and Steve and Bob all decide to take the day off and/or quit, it isn't up to Amazon to deal with it directly. More broadly, if all of a sudden these folks that were hired by LVIA don't want to work there anymore because they don't like the pay, then LVIA will have to figure something out. Amazon's remedy is to insist that the LVIA comply with its contractual requirements.

In any event, all of the flights ex-ABE for the past two weeks have been within an hour-ish of schedule, which is pretty consistent with what it's always been. The only exception is that last Thursday, a single Atlas flight was about 4.5 hours late departing. Maybe that was due to loaders, maybe it wasn't. I would expect that as the network volume increases, there will be changes in the outstation procedures anyway, which will likely lead to short-term teething issues.
Then why are the Amazon contractor pilot unions demanding that Amazon force ATSG and Atlas to pay their pilots more money?
