TWA was raped by Carl Icahn, that's what killed TWA. PAN AM did die from lack of domestic feed, but Alaska isn't wanting for feed, there are several carriers that could fill the need quickly and easily. Their problem is that they have a wholey owned feeder that is failing miserably, dragging down their brand. Replacing that carrier is an obvious fix. The only question is how much patience do they have and how long will it take to turn Horizon around. Is it worth the effort?
