I'll second that. South side is the place to be. I lived about halfway up the Hillside at the corner of Birch and Huffman.
The thing to remember is the higher you go on the Hillside, the more winter you have. My recommendation would be to stay South but find something down below.
The other factor is the higher you go the more you need 4 wheel drive to get home. We were there before South High was built, but the kid went to Goldenview Junior High and that school was good back then.
