I would say that you are in a good spot to get some of the first picks(any 121 puts you ahead of the majority, and usually there are not that many pipeline CFI personnel) and since you have the 300 hours you won’t worry about upgrades anytime soon. As far as base picks it will be what the numbers are generated right before the class picks (meaning no one knows what bases or equip are available until morning of).
