I have friends who live in the Tri Cities area (Pasco, with Richland and Kennewick) and I visit there a couple of times a year. Usually seats and JS available on about 6 Horizon flights a day, 40 minutes to Seattle. Great for families, good schools, low crime, low housing prices, highly educated workforce (your next door neighbor may be a PhD nuclear physicist - I am not joking), wide open spaces just a few minutes from home, great wineries. Most every trip I see pilots commuting.
