Haha. I was just repeating what I was told. I think it's hilarious that everyone gets so worked up about it. I probably won't wear it unless it is made mandatory.
For a lot of people it’s either you’re a company man or you’re with the pilots. It’s made into a bigger deal than it is and people put underlying issues behind it, flow, Delta issues etc. I stopped wearing it simply because a few people ridiculed me about it. Harmlessly; but enough to stop wearing it. Mostly junior guys wear it because TW usually comes in to new hire classes and talks about getting it as you’re getting fitted for uniforms, after they get a little seasoned you notice they stop wearing it.
