My best career purchase has been my 2 (different sizes) Zero Haliburton cases I got off ebay for less than 1/2 of what they cost new. Yeah, I had to surf for them awhile and wait till the right ones popped into my ebay search key but they've both been fantastic, timeless, lightweight bags. Plus, they were already patin'ed with scratches and dents since they were lightly used. I've already gotten warranty service on the big bag for a broke wheel but these bags are worth the $$$ and the lifetime warranty. If you're going to be here awhile, spend the $$$ from that draft trip or that vaca that you sold back and get a good used Halliburton or Rimowa bag that will last 20+ yrs.

Some guys say buy a $150 bag every 3 yrs and take it off your taxes (no worky starting in 2018 BTW...) and wind up spending $1000 in bags over a career or "go big or go home" and get the $400-$500 lifetime Halliburton bag once.
