1. Heard they have recently instituted a “pre-indoc” program which lasts about 14 hours, because the new hires have no concept of jet engines, high altitude physiology, and “professionalism”. And the new hires are not paid for this time, but are required to attend. ???

2. Heard they actually do not pay during the travel day and the first 5-6 days of training. Even though the MESA web site says otherwise, and MESA makes new hires “accept” the offer (thus forming the contract), when they arrive the new hires are told their “hire date” is actually about a week off. The reason being told is delays in HR, drug testing, etc. ???

Any truth to this ???
No idea. But there's truth to the fact that it's Mesa. Not MESA. You don't call it SKYWEST. You call it Skywest. Mesa is not an acronym.
