You are hearing a bunch of false information. You are paid the moment you pass your drug test (as mentioned above) and start Indoc. ATP/CTP follows Indoc if you need to pass your ATP written.
So, you are not paid for your initial travel day, the day you take the drug test, and usually the next day - usually 3 days not being paid. Your sources are a bunch of trolls or recruiters that work for other regionals.
This is 100% correct. Your source for that information is 100% wrong. In fact of all the airline employees at that CTP course we were the only ones being paid and having a seniority number there. Everyone else hadn’t been hired yet.
