As I've stated in other threads here, I'm fighting for a market rate contract, and want this place to be a career destination, but that doesn't mean I have to be miserable every single day. My apps are up to date with other carriers, and if they call I'll leave for them, but so far my time at B6 has been easy. There are days when it feels like a regional (During IROPs for example), but hopefully that will change with a real contract. I live in base and my life has been pretty great compared to my regional days (Which was absolutely miserable). If you have to commute across the country, this may not be the place for you, but if you're close to one of the bases (Either short commute or driving) than it's not a bad place at all to be.
If the legacies/SW/FDX call before you take a position here, then obviously go there, but by reading some of the stuff on this forum you'd come to believe that Mesa is a better place to work than here.
Potential hires: Read the line that states- "if you're close to one of the bases" That is the only reason to take B6 for now. Stay tuned.
Btw, there are many more who have negative things to say- We may not be miserable, but we also dont bury our heads in the sand like the same 4 or 5 juicers posting here.
