How long from reference checks can you expect a TOL and the checkride?
I was told by several of my former bosses and references that they got called late last week from an FSDO. I've heard anywhere from this week to a year from now....
Just wanting to get an idea in my head so I know when to expect to bow out from my current job. I'm not counting my chickens but it would be nice to know. Especially since my current boss has mentioned he got called.
Do NOT quit your job after receiving a TOL. Within the past few months I already know of multiple applicants who did not get their FOL since they did poorly on the checkrides and ended up with an UNSAT. FYI you bust the ride you need to wait 1 year until you can reapply.
