Now the procedure is to run all the checks (dot their i’s and cross their t’s, so to speak) before notifying you of the offer/non offer. Sometimes that happens quickly, sometimes background checks can take a few weeks (for instance, international ties like residences, spouses, finances, etc).
Interesting. Do they contact current employers before offering the CJO/job, too? If so, that might get interesting for us corporate guys and how we manage the resignation.
