I’m not following your logic. You are against having real time trading because of OTP? You are against unlimited open time pick up because of makeup bank? You are against a hybrid of having real time trading and have a limit in picking up open time because they chose to drop their trips? If there is no limit, that wouldn’t be an issue...but you are against lifting the limit. Maybe you feel the system is fine right now?

There are other airlines that do this equitably every month.

Lastly, I don’t appreciate you insinuating that I want to screw anyone. I’m a commuter and don’t pick anything up anyway. I’m just thinking out loud in trying to come up with a compromise to allow real time trading and also limit people from picking up too much open time (since thet seems to be the embedded culture here). Can you think of a way to have real time trip trading and not screwing pilots over in whatever way you think it will screw them?
