I'm not positive how those agreements are finalized, i.e I don't know if the United CPP agreements are actually agreements between the airlines or the union but I'm guessing it's the managements not the union.

And since our management is controlled by Delta, I'm going to say they're not going to make an agreement to supply a competitor with pilots.

At the end of the day, regardless of what the union may think, it's company HR who makes the hiring decisions.

Delta's union (also ALPA) has already passed a resolution directing the union to attempt to get the company to hire more ALPA pilots, that's really the best they can do.
