I'm looking to interview with a solid regional in a few years and I am trying to stay put somewhere and build seniority. A respectable retirement plan is a must for me. I have noticed people mention 140 as the top pay at YX, is that a thing now? Any help would be appreciated.
If you’re a military pilot I would look elsewhere, if you plan on making a career at a regional. Military pilots at YX tend to move on quickly, but a few stay around. Retirement benefits at republic are only 401K, and honestly it’s not that good. If you want travel after you retire, then you should look at a wholly owned regional. I would suggest not making a career at a regional, because you will never have a guaranteed job.
