That's not having the experience Vital Signs is talking about. That's just getting started. Used to be that a pilot would need minimum of 5 years in a Continental Express ATR or something before he or she was even looked at.
There’s a guy on the other thread who stated stats of a recent new hire, 14,000TT. That isn’t exactly a spring chicken. I met a few new guys this year and all have been in 121 for well over a decade. In fact, I think we are one of the few companies that prefer higher time guys.
