Folgorato196,

I’ve been very fortunate to train quite a few applicants (successfully) from zero to the regionals and 135 operators. The best thing you can do to help yourself get through the training pipeline the quickest and cheapest in no particular order: Pass all of your writtens using ShepperdAir, get your financing lined up, find a school with a DPE on staff or very close by, use a school (141 or 61) that has good weather or hangars their fleet, CFI’s that want to work and fly and that they probably will be there throughout your training cycles. I know that sounds stupid, however, I know several CFI’s that really don’t want to work that hard and don’t enjoy their work, and lastly devote every waking hour to immerse yourself in this endeavor. Basically, learn to live at the airport. GoodLuck
