I did the CFI Academy in Pompano, 30 days program. It pretty much consists of learning how to create Lesson Plans and proper teaching. Everyone’s end up sharing the internet ones... so the course is actually helpful for the teaching experience. 30 days is a pain!!! And at the end, every examiner has its own way of conducting the checkride, mine asked me tonteach only one lesson plan! So, bear in mind the CFI program teach you how to teach, not to pass checkrides.
About getting a job offer, they advertise if you do the program you get a job offer... that being said, make sure they know you’re doing the program to work there, as many do. Because of that “marketing policy” American Flyers has so many Instructors and the average hours monthly are only 50 to 70.
