True but I wouldn't say we're f'd. If anything happens the odds are TSA will probably end up as part of one of the companies UAL owns either Manta Air or Commutair. Compass likely sold to Republic or Endeavor and Gojet will dissolve as planes are moved to Endeavor or parked.
With the staffing shortage right now its unlikely UAL would take the XRs without the pilots. Same for Blowjet and Compass.
Then again there is always the possibility the planes are taken away and Trans States takes the HK airplanes and runs an ADI type operation with charters until the MRJ arrives. This is unlikely but you never know with Hulas.
