I would say your first two weeks here are just as much about survival as they are about learning the new company, in the sense that a few people have shot themselves in the foot during indoc. Just don’t be that guy/girl.
I know it's been somewhat covered, but it's encouraged to go wherever you want, you just can't use it to visit multiple places. Point A to point B via the most direct route you can find. So no going ATL-LAX-SEA-ATL to visit Los Angeles and Seattle, but you can go to Denver to see friends instead of going home to Portland. It's explained the first day of indoc to new hires what the expectations are. You also need to have two flights to get you back without being late.
