Well, it was supposed to be funny. You can see why my stand up comedy career never really took off.
I understand the frustration with the reassignment language. But a friend of mine had one a week or 2 ago, due to a big snow storm, and he ended up making a ton of credit. The language that you find so troubling, got this guy a ton of extra money. He did lose a day off, but he was compensated very well for it.
