CFI is great....assuming you actually teach and don't waste your time staring at hobbs meter.
Another option is to CFI until you hit 500-800TT and then fly Aerial Survey, Skydive (meat missiles), Traffic Watch or take advantage of some Part 91/135 FO programs.
