I wrote an email back expressing interest and got a contact name and number to arrange the meeting.
My question is this. Do you think I can make any real headway into getting an interview with this visit? It's not a cheap thing to do but would be worth it if it helped me stand out from the crowd.
Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.
I don’t know if a meet and greet will help you get an interview, as HR selects the interviewees. But assuming that you have the competitive qualifications to get an interview, it couldn’t hurt to meet with someone in Flight Division, as they might be on your interview panel.
