I agree. However when the phone rings you don't really know how long you have unless you can quickly look it up on iCrew while they are calling or listen up while they are leaving you a message.
So... you only have 10 minutes to respond if it is more than 3 hours to departure, otherwise they may move on immediately to the next pilot.
Even so, I
never answer the phone, and I dearly hope we never start using ARCOS for white slips.
