Congratulations, I will try to answer what I can. You will see about 30-40 hrs per month. As for upgrade, it is dependent on how many hours you come in with and how much flying you do. You will get upgraded when you meet the Mins.

During training you can expect to drink from a fire-hose... lots of info. Just work with your classmates on you off time to become proficient.
