This is a safety/maintenance/management/airbus problem. I’m in none of those circles. Plenty of people in those departments who should be taking action. And the union (local and national) need to take a tougher stance on it. B6ALPA is silent. Today’s ALPA email is more acknowledgement of the issue but little action. Maybe at some point (after Unite makes some headway?) they’ll do more. It’s kind of like our on time performance. Someone will occasionally throw a new initiative out to help, but never really fixes the issue.
