Default Working at FedEx with a Green Card

Sorry everyone, I've searched and searched and have yet to find a definitive answer.

Recently got extended an invitation to interview that I'm beyond excited for. My only concern is the US Security Clearance for the postal contract.

I'm a Canadian citizen with US Permanent Resident status (Green Card.) I am eligible for LAA (Limited Access Authorization) and I'm wondering is that satisfies the requirement for the postal contract. I've been living in the United States for almost 10 years now with no criminal record.

I know there used to be a blurb that read something like;
"Candidates for jobs involving handling or access to U.S. mail cannot be considered for employment if they have resided outside the U.S., Guam or Puerto Rico for more than (6) six months during the last (5) years prior to today's date, other than the following verifiable exceptions: active duty in the U.S. Uniformed Service; trailing spouse or dependent of someone working for the U.S. government (military or civilian); missionary; student attending school in a foreign country; Peace Corps participant; employee of a U.S. based employer/company or other extraordinary circumstances."

Have anyone worked with those who currently have Permanent Resident status?

Thanks for any insight!
