If they’ve changed this then it’s news to me. I see the gripe if they all start at the same time and can’t bid. If you start a day early and the only positions are MD, well seems like that’s that. It’s a work around that I thought was contractually sound as far as I knew.

I am pretty sure the conversation for MD and FDAs goes: Hello, is is John Hamhands there? Oh John Congratulations this is FDX and we would like to offer you a class on 1 June for a MD-11 FO position. If that isn’t what you want we we be glad to call you when something else comes up. Can we expect you on 1June?
