Probably

75-100 A220-500s
30-50 A321XLR
30-40 A350neo..... this is in 2025 as the Ultrafan isn't ready. The A350neo 1000 is a direct 777 replacement.

The 717 is the question mark, because as it stands, unless the used market collapses, the 717s will cost more to buy out the remaining note, rather than buy all new A220s. The tax laws changed under Trump allowing new equipment to be a much better buy. Until Democrats repeal that, Delta probably won't be playing in the used market again.

The 787 could get dragged into the 737max investigation, as its certification process was also sketchy, and until that issue is resolved, it is best to be avoided.

The 797 is vaporware.
