Those "nice" night hub turns are an option; so are day hub turns; so is going right to the 777 and never doing hub turns.
It's all relative, but quite different from a pax carrier. Our junior guys don't have to start at ****ty location with least number of seats behind them, then slowly ratchet up the seats behind them incrementally over the years. if you're wanting widebody life / pay, that can happen instantly, or no longer than 2 years (due to system bids) if you want to change your initially awarded airplane.
I personally would loathe the BNA scenario described above, but I'm glad people senior to me love it. Widebody intl is my sweet spot. The trash/treasure for FDXers is widely varied, and we don't have to wait for years of seniority to make that happen.
