Hi Boats & Hos

I would not say training is "Brutal"... Yes it is LONG but not difficult... It does require a bit of effort to learn a "new" way of doing things... The training at IBEX is structured to give the new pilot plenty of time to adjust to the "Kata" the way... We had a pilot Join in 2018, a CRJ guy who was unsuccessful at Peach... Because he already had his radio and airlaw complete he was done and cleared to line in 5 months...

The classes are scheduled around the Airlaw exam which is a National Exam that is only given 4 times a year... From start to finish for the normal driver it is 6-7 months... Lots of free time for self study or exploring, or both...

Most of the Expat training programs in Japan are very similar in structure and time... Exception being Peach, very crammed packed with LOTS of expected self study... Thus a high rate of people being Unsuccessful... New to J-way, New to A-320/NTR, New to J-land... Can and has been done just lower than most success rates... JCAB ATP already much better success...
