Thanks, Blue Moon! I'm a mom trying to balance a military gig for a few more years until retirement and look for best QOL (at least until the kids get out of the house). I live about a 3 hour drive away and don't mind multiple commutes, but sitting on reserve and not getting called would not be a good thing for me now like it is for the local guys.
