In the right circumstances, they might. I have heard of Voyageur, a Canadian DHC-7/8 & CRJ operator taking non-Canadians. Trans Capital, a similar operator also. You'd probably have to be a higher time Twotter guy and possibly with a specialized managerial skill / degree to offer.

That being said, unless you desire a pay cut and to work harder....
Might be an interesting retirement job. Why pay thousands to go to Antarctica when you could be getting paid.....

Despite the talk, Canada has a milder pilot shortage than the rest of the world. You'll find a lot of guys up there get their initial experience on the industry by moving up north to remote Arctic communities and basically volunteering to work on the ramp, with hopes it will lead to progression to the flight line. Respect for that - not something I would do. Most of their airline pilots would love to come down to the US.
