Program is in disarray to say the least right now. Manager running it got fired last week. She lawyered up and hopefully gets her job back. New guy got it dropped on top of his other responsibilities. They have a funding problem and some of the spots got cut. The second batch of interns had anyone who had the time to go to a regional leave. They all visited ameriflight and basically were told,"forget what UPS told you will be here for at least several years building competitive time, so suck it up." They were treated like crap by AMF and voted with their feet. UPS won't bring in any higher time peeps now because they can and do walk when the promises don't match reality. If you are low time and don't have a CFI this might not be a bad gig. But, you will still have to go somewhere to get "competitive time". Read the fine print carefully if you want to deal with this devil.
