I'm a career change guy and at 34, I think this route would be the best for me to get in the air the quickest. The mom and pop route is not real feasible due to my location and will almost be the same cost. It would be harder for me to take off six months without an income, but I think I could swing it without having to borrow any $.
May want to ask in the regional forums (search for RTP discussions). I believe some of the RTPs use that school. Some of those folks may offer some insight to their operation - at least from a student’s perspective.
