But it would take that long for airbus to ramp up production to replace boeing in the market so they can recover from this. Unfortunately they are off balance and at a disadvantage, and can't afford any more crashes with casual roots in design/certification issues. They are going to have to be very careful for a long time, and that might be expensive.
