The Euro also hurt the poor, when it was introduced it took the local currency value away, making the working class have to work harder, and the poor extremely poor. Case in point Italy, Crazy Prices just for coffee $6 bucks a cup! People will do anything to make money-so if you go and ask someone to take a picture of you and your girl in front of the coliseum,make sure they dont have plans to charge you...or you might lose a camera.
All I can say is I hope Turkey realizes that joining the EU and introducing the Euro would not be too smart.
