I’ll take ACMI any day over a legacy. I get a two week vacation every month. It’s perfect for me and my family. Been doing this schedule for a decade, and won’t ever do anything else.
That can be one of the good perks I guess. The vagabond lifestyle trying to bid to get a month plus off, bc some personal trips can’t be done in a week or two.
But it works for some and it doesn’t for others. My point in life, a week on/week off is best. I hate having to sacrifice sometimes crappy bid months to get good bid months. It was hard on the family life, but I got 5 weeks off one time with vacation. Moral was low at work and this was much needed.
But two week vacation?!?! You must have it easy when you get home. Lol
