When you're home for two weeks at a time you can completely tune out the work part of your life and just enjoy being home. No lingering worries about commuting back in 2 days then back home again 3 days after that (if you're lucky). Its an adjustment but it works well in my house, especially if your wife has a flexible schedule, then it works really well.
