You might cross-post on the PSA forum. At least one of the crash pads has/had some semi-permanent residents (they don't commute, but still live in a crash pad when not on a trip).
There is also an apartment complex very close to the airport that we call the "pilot ghetto," but I'm not sure which one it is (might be Park Place).
